MixedThe through-line of this patch: the #11 adjustments had weakened magic heroes too much, especially in Arena mode. This patch course-corrects by buffing magic, while tightening a few map-generation templates.

- •The Sorcery skill now increases the magic damage dealt by more, at all three of its levels.
Magic-damage specialists — “Spellweaver”
Spell damage bonus (base)+10 %▲+15 %

- •The “Spellweaver” specialization, carried by Zakron the Great (Dungeon) and Blackhorn (Schism), is revised: the base bonus goes up and the per-level progression is smoothed. The penalty applied to the enemy hero's spell damage follows the same value.
Arena mode — draft phase
- •The previous patch's adjustments had weakened magic heroes too much in Arena mode. To compensate, the number of starting units offered during the draft phase is reduced (by about 15 % across all factions).
Map generator
- •Sprint: Stables are now fully blocked from generation (this time for good).
- •Jebus Tournament: the size of players' starting zones is slightly reduced, and the strength of guards (both standard guards and central-zone guardians) is slightly lowered.
- •Helltide: “Point of Balance” objects can no longer spawn in players' side zones.
Bug fixes
Fixed
- •Jebus Tournament: a player's missing starting hero at the beginning of a tournament battle no longer crashes the game.
- •Fixed the “Heroic Strike” keyboard shortcut.
- •The match timer kept running for both players while simultaneous turns were halted: fixed.
- •An enemy hero making an attack while under the effect of “Mirage” no longer crashes the game.
- •An opponent leaving Arena mode while choosing the target of an ability no longer crashes the game.
Localization
Chinese — Angel and Archangel
- •Fixed a translation-memory error that had mistakenly reverted the Chinese name of the Angel (and Archangel) to 光明者. The correct official term is fully restored: Angel → 天使, Archangel → 大天使.
Found in the data
Identified by comparing the game files v0.80.31 → v0.80.34. Not much this time: the patch delivers on its promises.
Chinese fix broader than announced
- •The official note only mentions “Chinese”, but the Angel / Archangel name is restored in both Simplified Chinese (zh_cn) and Traditional Chinese (zh_tw).
No hidden balance changes
- •Unlike #11, the file comparison reveals no unit, spell, artifact or building stat quietly changed. The only game values touched are those listed above (Sorcery, “Spellweaver”, Arena mode draft, Stables ban on Sprint).
Generation adjustments not verifiable in the data
- •The Jebus Tournament changes (zone size, guard strength) and Helltide changes (Point of Balance) are indeed announced, but do not appear in the versioned map-generation files: they are probably handled engine-side, and therefore cannot be verified from the extracted data.
