Less than 72 hours after its April 30, 2026 Early Access launch on Steam and Microsoft Store, Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era passed 500,000 copies sold, peaking at over 60,000 concurrent players and topping Steam's best-seller list with a Very Positive rating across thousands of reviews. Hooded Horse CEO Tim Bender called the reception an absolute thrill, and the game went on to top 650,000 copies within a week as Unfrozen continues shipping post-launch patches.
